Overview

Riverlink Shopping Centre is an 80,000 m2 development with a 600m frontage to the Bremer River.

It has been constructed on a remediated Brownfield site previously used as a gas works and Queensland Rail shunting yard.

WSC provided structural engineering for the Riverlink Shopping Centre. The Western Precinct comprises a post tensioned ground floor retail slab over basement carparking.

The superstructure comprises a series of tilt up panel braced frame structures.

The Eastern Precinct is a composite steel structure constructed 7m above the Bremer Bank. This structure was winner of the ASI (QLD) steel structures design award 2007.
