OUR HISTORY

Whybird & Brown Pty Ltd was established in 1985, and with the rapid growth of the firm transitioned to Whybird Brown and Farr Pty Ltd a few years later. In July 2000 with the introduction of the GST Jim Whybird started Whybird and Partners Pty Ltd which changed its trading name to Whybird Structural & Civil (WSC) in 2010

From 2000 onwards WSC developed into an award winning organization, based on a tight cell of dedicated people specialising in the provision of high quality structural and civil engineering consultancy services. Project design and documentation by WSC is cutting edge and highly effective. WSC’s product is industry recognised as being of the highest standards, evidenced by the conferred ‘Australian Steel Institute (QLD) Structural Engineering Steel Design Awards 2007’ and the ‘Design Documentation Award – 2005 – Structural’ by Queensland Institute of Steel Designers.
